Out of town till Sunday

Okay, people, I know the site isn't up yet, but I'm goin' off to vacation as of tomorrow... as in, out of town. I'll be back my Sunday. There's a small chance the site may pop up while I'm gone... I actually think I've upload the site okay, I should just be waiting for a DNS transfer to go through. Then again, I really have no idea what I'm talking about. Well, if it does come up, enjoy! If not... I'll look at it when I return.

Back to personal stuff... that new guy I was talking to I already decided was not quite boyfriend material. I do think he is friend material, though. We get along too well to not keep in touch. He's actually a bit bummed out, as he was way into me already. Can you blame him? :) And he wasn't even a foot guy! At least, not that I know of. His fetish seemed to be suits. Whatever floats your boat!

So by now you've noticed I've taken down the old site. The domain name finally came through, and I got a new web server. But I'm still having problems uploading the site. I never thought this could be so difficult. I wish I knew what was going on. It's pretty frustrating for me, too! Hopefully I can get this resolved before Thursday... I am leaving for a 4 day out-of-town trip then, and obviously won't be able to work on it during that time. It's called vacation, baby!

On a personal note, I've starting talking with a new guy that I met on a message board (non-foot related). He's very sweet, but not quite as sharp/quick witted as I like. Not quite a hot guy, but very pleasant. It's pretty clear he's very into me, though, which I have mixed feelings about. While I do want to meet new guys, I'm don't think I'm really ready for a full time, LTR committment right now. It's just been too soon! So we'll have to take things slow for a bit.

Saw the comedian Emo Philips last night. He was fantastic! Always been a big fan of his. He will be appearing in Los Angeles for the next few Mondays, with different guests each night. He said next Monday will be Judy Tenuta! Wow! I think I may have to go again. So much fun, and only for $10! Cheaper than a movie. Go support him.

In a holding pattern

Still in the process of getting my domain name transferred. Don't really want to do much until that's finished, and it may take up to 5 working days. I'll keep you posted!

Had a great time dancing Monday night, but didn't hook up. Well, I went with my female best friend. And believe it or not, but I'm actually not much of a "hook up" kind of guy, especially at nightclubs. I like to go to dance, and that's it. I may go out Saturday night to a Goth/Industrial club. I have many facets to me... ;)

I actually have some work to do for the next few days, for which I am actually semi-thankful for... I think I'm turning into too much of a couch potato/internet junkie lately. I need to get out of the house, and with something that's not just shopping.

Making some progress

Finally got around to transferring the domain name today. Still haven't yet found a web host that I feel comfortable with yet. Anyone have a recommendation?

Didn't know if you were aware, but I'm quite the amusement park freak (and nowadays, with all the rides where your feet hang below you, there's some great foot-spotting action now...). And being in Southern California, I went to Disneyland's 50th anniversary yesterday. Not a bad day! Not a great day either, but better than I expected. The crowds were actually quite manageable for the scale of the event... everyone was projecting much worse. Saw a couple of hotties, and Disneyland is always a great place to see "family"! Still, I ended up going home alone. :-/ Well, what can you do?

Good chance of heading out to whew (West Hollywood, the local "boystown" for all you non-SoCal people) for some dancing tonight. Although I'm actually the type of guy that actually goes for the dancing, and not as much for the cruising. I'm really just too shy to cruise much! Websites are about as bold as I get. But if anything does happen, I'll let you know...

Some more questions answered

Some of you may be wondering, "Why is TFG starting another blog, when he hardly used the one he has now?" Good question, with a few answers. Mainly, the website & blog are from the same server, so I was planning on just canceling both, rather than trying to keep one open. Blogs aren't all that difficult to find, as you can see. I know this one's a little plainer, but I'm trying to streamline things a bit anyway.

Why am I even changing the site so much? I've basically just outgrown it. It was with Tripod, and I've totally had a great run with them, and their site builder is a great tool. But the site was just becoming too big, and I just wanted to try new things. Problem is, they spoiled me so much, I'm having some trouble doin' it on my own. ;) I really hope I can get this figured out.

Also, I'm ready to get a bit more personal here. Especially now that I'm single again. ;) Plus, I do have a fairly wicked sense of humor that never really came out on the site. I want to incorporate that a bit more.

Another item holding up my time is my other website project, completely separate from my personal webpage. I knew it wouldn't be easy, but I didn't think it'd be this hard, either. I think I'm closer to making it happen, but there are still some unknown factors that are holding me back... this project takes quite a bit of personal investment, so I want to be careful with my options.

On Tuesday, I went to Hurricane Harbor (local water park). I'm actually not much of a swimmer (I can swim, I just don't like to), mainly because it wrecks havoc with my contact lens (which I am quite blind without. Some people have suggested I should wear goggles--now come on, when was the last time you saw a hot guy at a water park wearing goggles?). Boy, there is nothing like looking at teen boy feet, slim chests, boi feet, sexy legs, boy toes, twink bodies, and soft, wet soles. Sucks that most of them are way too young for me... but it's still great just looking. Went to the amusement park next door, and still found lots of guys in flip-flops. The fun just never ends!

So what's the deal?

I don't know, and it's kinda ticking me off a bit! Admittedly, I haven't been looking into it much lately, as I haven't really been home much in the last few days. I'll try to tackle it again tomorrow. The really tricky part is that I don't know if it's a problem with my new webhost, or a problem with my web editing software... it could be either one! So it's been taking me a while to track it down. Believe me, it's frustrating for me, too.

I think the new web server I have is good, but more for people who are a little more advanced on how to upload them. Anyone have a recommendation for a web host for more of a beginner to uploading? I'm also using Namo Web Editor, not Frontpage (though I think they are fairly similar when it comes to uploading sites).

What else is up? Actually a bit put out... I'm in a place to start meeting other people, I think. But more for friends/casual dating. Online ads have been good for me in the past, but there's been a disappointing lack of response I'm getting lately. Maybe I shouldn't mention my foot fetish on relationship sites? I think that's putting off most "normal" guys. ;)

Almost done!

It's taken me a long time, but I'm nearly done with the new website! The only real work to do on it now is continuing to add more gallery pages, but I can continue adding those once I get the main site up. At first appearances, it will look smaller than the current site, but that is only because I have consolidated pages together. In fact, there should be more pictures than before! So I think you will find it worth the wait. Stay tuned here for more updates.
