Back at last

Returned from our San Diego trip. It was a lot of fun. We kept very busy! And it was pretty hot. We ended up leaving the Wild Animal Park early just because it was so unbearably hot. Sea World was fun, as was the Zoo and Legoland. Enjoyed a nice organ (no pun intended) concert at Balboa park. And Comic Con was more fun than I expected it to be! Amidst the 100,000 people there, I ended up running into my first ex. Egads! He didn't see me, and I kept a low profile. What are the chances of that!?!?

Also got to spend some time with a friend there, who informed us that the hotel we were staying at is infamous for porn movie shoots. We are proud to say that we probably could have shot a pretty hot porn film had cameras been there. I tied him to a chair, gagged him with duct tape, and left him facing a full length mirror so he could see himself struggle while I took my time in a shower. Then I abused him thoroughly with a riding crop that he purchased during the trip (at the Crypt). I later removed the gag and made him eat my ass and suck my dick while still tied to the chair. Good times.

We did miss out on Pride (which is happening the weekend after our return)... sort of on purpose. Just didn't want to deal with the crowds, as well as the exorbitant hotel rates. But to anyone who's there, I hope you have as much fun as I did!

Summertime Eye Candy

Gettin' ready to leave for a week vacation to San Diego. First time I'll see Sam in about a week; he's been out of town on a work trip. We are both looking very forward to this!

Before I go, some general eye candy from this miraculous thing called "the internet" to keep you all placated in my absence. Try not to lick the screen too much. ;)

Good 'ole tied feet. A good reminder that this is what it's all about!

Jury Duty served

I wish there was a kinky connotation to that heading, but there really isn't. Although at the same time, I gotta say that the jury duty service did not prove to be as much of a pain as I thought it would be. Short summery... got sent out within two hours, had an incredibly slow-speaking judge, didn't get picked in first round (they send out 30 at a time, and then take 18, while rest wait to see if any of the 18 get dismissed. I was in the wait group). After first dismissal, was picked for second round, and then was told to come back the next day. Ran a bit late and wasn't able to call, and when I got there, I found they had already dismissed me for being late! I got sent back to the jury room, where I feared I'd be sent back out to another court. But turns out I was done! Not what I expected, but wasn't complaining either.

Since I had some unexpected time off in downtown, I explored a bit, and ended up on a tour of the Library, a fairly historic building. That was nice! Later that week, I went to see a dance show from a group called Diavolo. It was great.

This weekend was working, but got some time in at Disneyland as well.

Now I'm in the process of taking care of all remaining tasks/work before I leave for my week-long vacation to San Diego with Sam. Including some online traffic school for a ticket I got in late May. But I'll get some pics up here before I go, to keep you happy.

I do have to say that the YouTube clips I've added have gotten a lot more hits than I aniticipated! Glad to see they've gone over well. Maybe one day, I'll add more.

Cool celebrity sightings

Yet another recent post; can you believe it?

Last night, Sam and I went to see a local play In Burbank called Oklahomo. (That is not a typo.) It is a play about people trying to make a gay version of Oklahoma. Sort of think of it like "Noises Off", only without the slapstick, and more emphasis on the personality conflicts. Very funny stuff, which anyone who has ever done any kind of theater can appreciate. This is very small theater, folks... I would guess it seats about 25 people, and is the size of a large living room, at best. But some good stuff.

Here's the cool stuff: we first noticed that one of the cast members was Julie Brown. As in Mtv's "Just Say Julie", the movie "Earth Girls are Easy", and her (in)famous song, "Homecoming Queen's Got a Gun". How cool was that! Secondly, Sam noticed in the audience one of the supporting cast members from Gilmore Girls (sorry I don't know which one; I don't watch the show). And the best part: in the back row was none other than Lily Tomlin! I don't really get all that star struck, but OMG OMG OMG!!! Love her, love her, love her. And respect her... I didn't ask for an autograph or anything. Decided to just leave her alone. But I was so thrilled just to see her. And to be, like, 10 feet away from her at a show.

It's a good play too, very funny. But seeing Julie Brown and Lily Tomlin sure didn't hurt.

6 months--or, as Sam puts it, Two hundred sixty-two thousand eight hundred minutes

So last night marks our 1/2 year anniversary with Sam. I took him out to a local "party" restaurant, Tokyo Devle's Rock n' Roll Sushi. It's a bit of a wash, as neither of us drink nor really eat sushi, but the party atmosphere is so fun, and there are a few other entrees, I didn't think he/we'd mind. It's sort of a tricky place to describe, but it's almost like a nightclub crossed with a Japanese sushi bar, with dancing, games, and lots of shouting. It's a place that everyone should go to at least once... it's a real SoCal experience.

I did tell them in advance that it was our gay 6 month dating anniversary... they gave us a cake, made us stand on our chairs, and had us mock-whip each other with a pom pom in front of the entire restaurant. Little did they know...

Tomorrow night we're seeing a play. Not sure of the weekend plans... I was supposed to work all day Saturday, but it got canceled. Sam needs to both paint his place as well as pack for an upcoming work trip (he will be out for over a week). We'll improvise.

Next week I have jury duty. Well, I'm prepared for it with a bevy of books to read. Hopefully I'll get out of it... last time, I only had to show up about 2 days before I got dismissed.

Holiday (sung like the 80's Madonna song)

The time really flies by, doesn't it? Getting some work done on small, elusive errands (like returning phone calls, vacuuming, paying bills, cleaning house, etc.), while still have some larger tasks to do as well (like maybe more website updates!). I'll be plodding away at it, I assure you. But I do have to admit it's nice to relax. A lot. ;)

Believe it or not, but one of my biggest tasks is watching DVDs. No, seriously. Work related stuff, educational videos and whatnot (and not, this is not a kinky euphemism. Unfortunately). It actually takes a lot of time!

I did have a great 4th of July holiday weekend. Saw Superman Returns on Friday at the Arclight (Sam is a big comics fan, so I had to go--it was alright), was invited to a dance show by a friend at work (had a nice time with their company, even though the show was only okay), meet Sam's Mom for the first time up in Arrowhead on Sunday (that was lovely!), spent a day in Catalina on Monday (just for fun... it was great, as neither of us had essentially been there before), and on Tuesday we stopped by Disneyland to ride the new Pirates ride (I had been on it already, but Sam hadn't), visit & eat with my family who are currently in the process of adopting some stray kittens, and visit with friends for socializing and fireworks in Fullerton. Whew! Glad I have a day to recover from it all! Poor Sam had to go back to work today.

Believe it or not, but on Thursday will be our 6 month anniversary of dating. It seems very hard to believe six months have already gone by! It simultaneously feels like it's flown by, and also forever, since we get along so well. Wow! I'm planning on taking him out somewhere fun for dinner. More later.

Things are still going very well. We continue to have great, ahem, "adventures" together in bed. Can I just say that he wore a pair of shoes one day without socks, and that it was great having it taped to my face later on? MMMmmmm. Done it before, but it never hurts to have it done again. ;)
