Busy Season starts anew

Well, the biggest event of the year for me was finished about two weeks ago. I've had some time to catch my breath, but now the "regular" busy season begins. I'll be heading off to San Diego for a job on Saturday, and then be staying the night to do some more work at a workshop all day Sunday, to drive back to Los Angeles (about a 2 hour drive) and prepare for the regular work week! I love it when I get no time off. ;)

I'll basically be having work of some sort or another for nearly every Saturday between now and the middle of May. No exaggeration. So, while I know it's been a while since my last update, to be frank, it'll probably be another while before the next one. But whenever I get a moment, I'll continue to post here with minor updates!

On a personal note, I took a class in Taiko drumming! That's Japanese drumming, for those who don't know. It's something I've always wanted to try, and a new workshop is beginning in an area local to me! It meets once a month. That's not very much, but for my busy schedule, that actually works out about right! It was a real workout for my arms, and I have to say that they are still feeling it days later. But it was worth it!

Valentine's Day

Well, since both of us had to work, we decided to only have a simple dinner out, and to not get each other any gifts, cards, candy, flowers, etc. The latter was mostly due to the fact that we've been spending a lot of money anyway, partially due to the fact that we're still paying off the Walt Disney World trip from December, and also because I had been so busy with work, I just had not time to get anything.

Despite that, Sam did get me a stuffed animal and card. It was very sweet, although I regret to say that I held my end of the bargain. But he was fine with it, as he knew how busy I had been with work over the weekend. So understanding!

We had dinner at a restaurant called Cube, which is known for it's fine cheeses. I love cheese, so I had been wanting to go here for a while. Sam is not a big fan of cheese, but even he liked their selection quite a bit... so that was pretty remarkable! We had a really great time.

Life may be returning again

Sorry the blog entries have been so infrequent. I've been building up to a large work event for the last few months where I had to coordinate a big shin-dig. It's been a very consuming situation, but I am pleased to say that it went off remarkably well over the weekend, especially for it's first time out! It's a huge weight off my shoulder that I've been bearing for quite a while. Now I have some post clean up to do, and prepare to dive headlong into my busy season at work. But by comparison, I'll be having more free time.

Because of all the previous craziness, I really haven't had time to post any new pics to the site, and to be honest, I'm not sure when I will. But since it's long overdue for eye candy, I'll include a lot of web pics here for your patience, and will try to continue to do so when I get a chance (I can post pics here way faster than I can to the site).
Also feel free to continue to vote in the poll on the site, regarding uncensored pics. If I get enough interest, that may be the next area I work on!
