Blog finds, HD radio, Sneaker poll closing soon
Just found a new blog, Mikey's Bondage Den. I'd seen him on GearFetish before, but now he has his own blog, and it's off to a good start! And this is sort of old news, but I do love LA Lycra. Lots of hot singles, underwear, and more--updated faster than you can jerk off too! And you may see lil' ole me crop up from time to time, too. ;)
On a life note, I got a new car stereo back for Christmas, with HD radio. I hadn't asked for the HD radio feature, so I hadn't looked into it much until recently. And I didn't quite realize how many extra radio stations are out there (and for no monthly fee!). I've discovered an all 80's station (which really takes me back to my childhood), an independent/underground rock station, and a gay station called Pride Radio! I have so much to listen to now, it's ridiculous. Let's just say I'm now looking forward to long car trips. ;)
Life in general will be pretty busy for me for a while, and especially next week, as I have simultaneous major projects due at work. So if things are inconstant around here, please be patient. In the meantime, the sneaker poll still up, but not for much longer, so go vote at the right before it's done in early February!

"Dread" movie
Ah, gotta love LA. Where else can you see a midnight advance screening of the new, not yet in full release Clive Barker-based horror film?
So last night Sam and I headed off to see Dread, which is based on the Clive Barker short story, from the Books of Blood. Both Sam and I are Clive Barker fans.
The theater was fairly crowded, and it had been ages since I had been to a midnight screening. It was fun to be there, and the director and a few cast members were there on hand.
If you are a Clive Barker fan (and this was one of my personal favorite stories of his), you should go see this. I won't give away any spoilers, but I will say that they have added to the story and changed things, but still kept the spirit of the story. That said, you can't think about the movie too much afterwards... there are a lot of plot holes towards the end. But a good psychological thriller.
For us fetish people, there's no good foot shots (I think there is one dark shot towards the end, but you can't make out much detail), there is one good twinkesque chest and butt shot, and one guy does get tied to a non-functional radiator with cable ties (but also tortured somewhat grimly). Just so you all know.

I'll be out of town for the weekend, in the chilly midwest (in the middle of their winter storm... and here I am, enjoying flip flop weather). And then back to work on Monday, assuming my flight doesn't get delayed.

As I was looking at it more closely, I realized I forgot to include one of my personal favorite brands... New Balance! Maybe if I do the poll again in the future...
